Silk Tiger

Every once and a while I get the itch the break my paints out but I wanted to take it a step further with this piece in particular. Had the idea to turn a piece of scrap wood into fun mirror partially inspired by an awp skin in counter strike.

The design was mocked up in Procreate before moving onto cutting, sanding and priming the wood for drawing and painting. “Silk Tiger” painted with gouache on oak wood.
